At Back Office Marketing, we pride ourselves on crafting websites that not only look great but also deliver a seamless and user-friendly experience. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Johnsfort, a unique Irish farm stay that offers private tours of Ireland, and we’re excited to share the details of this project.

The Goal

Our goal for Johnsfort was clear: to create a warm, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate website that would immerse visitors in the authentic Irish farm experience. We wanted to capture the essence of the countryside while making it easy for potential guests to explore everything Johnsfort has to offer—from their charming accommodations to the unique private tours around Ireland.

Showcasing the Accommodations

Johnsfort offers two distinctive accommodations: Marianne’s Cottage and Bartholomew’s Loft. Each has its own charm and story, and we made sure the website reflected this. Marianne’s Cottage provides a cosy, traditional Irish farm stay, while Bartholomew’s Loft offers a spacious and rustic retreat. Both are perfect for guests seeking comfort and privacy amidst the natural beauty of the farm. The website highlights its features, from the self-catering facilities to the peaceful woodland surroundings, making it easy for potential guests to choose their ideal stay.

Private Tours of Ireland

Johnsfort also offers tailor-made private tours that showcase some of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Cliffs of Moher and Giant’s Causeway. We ensured these bespoke experiences were front and centre on the website, with clear information on what each tour entails, including transport, accommodation, and tour planning. Guests can now easily learn about the different tour options and book their dream Irish adventure directly through the site.

Life on the Farm

A big part of the Johnsfort experience is farm life. Guests can enjoy hands-on activities like feeding the animals, collecting fresh eggs, and even learning to bake traditional brown bread. We highlighted the unique aspects of the Farm Stay experience by integrating beautiful visuals and clear descriptions of the farm’s residents—hens, goats, sheep, and the beloved Highland cows. This allows guests to get a true sense of the authentic farm experience awaiting them.

Meet the Hosts

One of the key elements of Johnsfort is the warm hospitality offered by its hosts. We included a dedicated section that introduces the hosts and their passion for sharing their farm and love for Ireland with their guests. This personal touch adds authenticity and helps potential visitors feel connected even before they arrive.

The Website Design

We ensured that the website design was as welcoming and authentic as the experience itself. The use of natural colours, clean lines, and beautiful imagery captured the charm and beauty of Johnsfort, while the seamless navigation made it easy for users to find exactly what they were looking for, whether it be accommodation options, tour details, guest experiences, or contact information.

SEO and Functionality

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) played a vital role in the development process. We optimised the website to ensure Johnsfort could be easily found by those searching for authentic Irish farm stays and private tours. The website now ranks well for relevant keywords, driving more organic traffic. We also integrated essential tools such as Google Analytics to track visitor behaviour and provided social media integration for easy sharing and interaction.

We were thrilled to deliver a website that not only met but exceeded Johnsfort’s expectations. The new site captures the spirit of this unique farm stay while providing a user-friendly experience that makes booking a breeze. We’re proud to say that the project was completed successfully, and the client is delighted with the results.
